Flies are closely assocated with poor hygiene and is of great concern to public health due to their ability to transmit numerous dieases such as typhoid , fever, dysentery, cholera and cause health problems for human.

Their filthy eating habits such as eating manure adds to their ability to spread filth.

While most of them have short lives, they reproduce very fast and lay their eggs on all kinds of moist, warm, decaying organic materials including rotting flesh.Thus, their infestation can very fast grow out of control.

Different species require different solution with no one-size-fits all solution. Understanding each species allow target search and destroy exercise to remove them and their breeding habitats.

​An integrated approach consisting of sanitation improvements to deny them food & potential harborages, treatment with poison baitings, residual spraying and/or mist fumigation with non- pyrethroid chemicals is often needed. Non-chemical method of fly light traps can also be deployed to prevent their infestation.
